ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadine-Styrene) is composed of two copolymers. Styrene and Acrylonitrile form a linear copolymer that serves as a matrix. Butadine and Styrene also form a linear copolymer which acts as the filler material. The Acrylonitrile provides heat resistance and the Styrene gives rigidity. The combination of the two copolymers makes ABS rigid, tough and impact resistance thermoplastics. This material is widely used for luggage, pipes and fittings, sports helmet and automotive parts.
In RESINTECH, we manufactured our pipes under stringent quality control. ABS pipe system is easier and less expensive to install. Like other plastics pipe, ABS has excellent superior flow due to smooth interior finishing. It is also tough and strong over the recommended temperature of -40oC to +70oC. Sizes are from 15mm OD to 200mm OD.
